IBPS 2013 Model Papers To Help You Prepare Properly And Have Complete Knowledge Of What To Expect

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.  It is a highly esteemed body and conducts entrance examinations for the selection of nationalized banks.  About 19 nationalized banks are associated with the body and acknowledge the score received by the candidates to short list them for interviews.

There has been, over a period of time, a path breaking escalation in the number of candidates, who are appearing for this highly coveted examination.  All these candidates need a platform from where they can prepare for the exam and have all the pertinent information.  It is because of the lack of information that some of the candidates lose out.

Among the various requirements of information that the people have, the most important requirement is that of IBPS model papers.  You require these model papers so that you can stay abreast with the kind of questions that are asked in the paper.  In general, there are 5 sections that the candidates are required to attempt in case of the entrance examination for clerks.  These sections include English Language, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Computer Knowledge.  All of these have the same number of questions asked and one is supposed to score at least a minimum score in all of them.  However, the number of questions and sections vary with different entrance exams.

IBPS 2013 Model Papers- The Right Source

There are various sources on the internet which will be able to offer model papers to you, depending upon your selected field.  In other words, your model papers will vary on the basis of whether you are sitting for the post of Clerk, Probationary Officer (PO) or Specialist Officer.  There are many books too which contain model papers.  Most of these contain papers in the right format.  They are exactly the way in which it is asked in the examinations.  Therefore, you can be thorough with the format of the paper and develop your strategy of going about solving the questions of different sections.

However, what most of these model papers lack is the consistency of the difficulty level.  IBPS papers are expected to have the same level of difficulty.  With some element of variation, there would, otherwise, be very little change that will be experienced in the paper’s difficulty level.  However, some of these model papers are extremely simple while some others are very difficult.  Both of these are not good.  The reason for the same is that the more difficult papers will get you into the habit of taking more time to solve a sum and a very simple paper might make you complacent.

To find out an ideal source, you should visit online review sites or ask from your social circle.  You can also compare past papers with the available papers in a book or the internet to gauge its authenticity.
